GODZILLA VS DESTROYAH
**OPENING SCENE
Location: Isla de Mara - site of where Oxygen Destroyer made impact. Isla de Mara is now uninhabited due to Rodan.**
drone shot above ocean, seeing whales, sharks, fish, all dead, on the surface of the water, mutated.
A HEAV lands and Madison Russell (Millie Bobby Brown) walks out of it with a team in Oxygenated hazmat suits.
Sam Coleman (Thomas Middleditch) is in the water at the shore, picks up a fish, noticing its colors.
“They’ve been mutating” Madison Russell (Millie Bobby Brown), now an older, full fledged Monarch personnel.
“I guess the Military didn’t think about the effects the Oxygen Destroyer would have on the life around it.” Sam replies.
Madison, Sam, and a team of scientist collect samples of the fish, and leave for their base.
Leaving drone shot as the HEAV leaves, we see a whale turn over to show a stab mark.
NEXT SCENE
Mothra Hatching Facility
Monarch monitoring stations have been set up all around Hollow Earth, as Titans are now moving from the surface of Earth, to their home, Hollow Earth.
Dr. Chen (Zhang Ziyi) and her sister, Dr. Chen (Zhang Ziyi), are the lead team on Mothra. Mothra, reborn, hatched, currently stationed in the Hallow Earth, is being monitored. Dr. Chen and Dr. Chen are both researching the ways of the old they believe there is a link with their ancestry and Mothra, as Mothra has been extra receptive to the twins.
Kong can be seen in the background, swinging, enjoy life. He stays in his respective home, protecting humans from threats they cannot handle down in the Hollow Earth
Mark Russell (Kyle Chandler) is now head of Monarch, overseeing all the stations in Hollow Earth… and the construction of something in a Hollow Earth base. Mark video calls Colonel Foster at Castle Bravo. "Any news on Godzilla? He's been MIA since Hong Kong, which is concerning. We are tracking all titans on this planet, but the leader has just up and left?" Understandably, Godzilla is not happy with humans after MechaKevin (MechaGodzilla).
"We have no signs of him down here, and our probes found nothing where Serizawa nuked his home." Both go silent, remembering the loss of their friend. We will keep searching the oceans and the tunnels."
"Let me know what you find."
"Likewise" The video call ends, Foster leaves her station, looks at a big monitor with all the ocean titans and their vitals. All looks normal until...
"Why did Ebirah go off their course? Why is is moving away from the Pacific Ocean? Get a drone down there and see where it's going."
"Roger that." Barnes pilots a unmanned underwater drone down and we see him following Ebirah at a distance.
NEXT SCENE
Late afternoon, orange sky, Isla de Mara
Rodan is seen flying around Isla de Mara, as this was his home for years. Rodan perches on top of the volcano, looks around his surroundings, looking out into the ocean, noticing the dead sea animals. Rodan takes flight, flies low to the ocean, observing at all the dead sea animals.
All of a sudden, Destroyah leaps from the ocean and attacks Rodan, only showing a glimpse of Destroyah. A small battle ensues between them, Rodan smacks Destroyah with his wings, then kicks him. Rodan, thinking Destroyah cannot fly, tries to gain some height advantage. Destroyah dives back into the ocean, and as Rodan begins to rest, Destroyah flies from the ocean, showing the full shot Destroyah, bite and slashes Road. Rodan, shook in fear, rushes back to the volcano, kicking up fires, to distract Destroyah, essentially leaving Rodan being able to flee, injured.
Rodan makes his way to a hollow earth entry point, zooms through, and crash lands into a safe area, where Rodan can tend his wounds. Humans pick up Rodan on the sensors and react.
"What was that?" Mark asks.
"Sir, we lost all communications and visuals from Isla Del Mara. It's gone dark."
Illene Andrews exchanges fearful glances with Mark.
"Well get it back online. We need to send a team to go see what and why Rodan crash landed."
Destroyah. Recovered from the Volcano, looking over Isla de Mara, the ocean. Destroyah screeches, and minions of human sized “crab creatures appear out of the ocean and begin to take over the rest of Isla de Mara. The screech is heard by Titans all over the planet (camera pans over different titan's attention peaking, like a dog’s ears going up). An omnious feeling is felt across the globe, by all creatures, not just Titans.
NEXT SCENE
Monarch Base - Hollow Earth - Rodan
Monarch decides to deploy JET JAGUAR. A robot, powered by a controlled AI and the power source within Hollow Earth. This allows humans to remove throughout Hollow Earth more freely.
Mark Russell, Illene Andrews (Rebecca Hall), and Bernie Hayes (Brian Tyree Henry) take Jet Jaguar and Monarch created HEAVs to Rodan to observe at a distance. They notice a bite mark and a claw scratch on the Rodan, questioning whether or not it could be Godzilla.
“Do you think he has come back” Bernie asks.
“It’s been 4 years since Hong Kong and we haven’t seen Godzilla. Why would he randomly attack Rodan? The only reason he attacked before was due to MechaGodzilla, and what we were able to get from Apex, has been destroyed.” Illene responds.
In true Kyle Chandler form, Mark Russell says “WHATEVER IT IS, WE NEED TO FIND IT AND WE HAVE TO STOP IT”.
HEAVs leave a truckload of food for Rodan near Rodan’s resting site and leaves. Rodan cautiously accepts, as Titans are learning to live with humans, and the other way around.
NEXT SCENE
Underwater Monarch Base - Godzilla’s Territory.
Dr. Rick Stanton (Bradley Whitford) is at a team with Monarch’s military team (Colonel Diane played by Aisha Hinds, O’Shea Jackson as Barnes, etc).
Colonel Diane says, “we are picking up a ton of seismic activity around the OD site in Isla de Mara.”
“You think it’s the Big G?” Rick Stanton says
“Can’t confirm because audio and visual has been knocked out in that area.” Barnes replies "Mark sent over data and visuals from Rodan. Said he was scratches and bitten..."
“Dr. Rick, take a team and head out to Isla de Mara and see what is creating all this noise. Barnes and I will stick here to provide support if needed.”
“Alrighty captain, on it” Rick says as he gets ready to leave.
As Rick leaves, Madison and Sam arrive.
“Where are you going” Madison asks Rick.
“Some seismic rumbling was picked up in Isla de Mara” Rick replies.
“Oh, We were just there, can I tag along? I wanted to get more samples” asks Sam. "Madison, can you take these back to the lab?" Sam hands her the samples in a baggie. Madison struggles to hold all of them.
“I don’t know if we’ll be able to grab samples cause of these readings, but more the merrier." Rick says.
Sam and Dr. Rick leave on a HEAV and fly out of Castle Bravo.
NEXT SCENE
Isla de Mara, OD site
Monarch HEAV arrive above the scene at Isla de Mara. From a distance, all does not look well. All military and Rick and Sam are wearing tactical oxygenated suits.
“Not seeing Big G or any other Titans in this area. Looks super empty. But we are seeing a ton of pollution on the shore backing into the city. The city looks wet. We are gonna land and take a look at the sensor on the ground”, Dr Rick radios to Colonel Diane.
“Stay close together, report anything you see. Take the drones to video your surroundings. I want visuals."
The HEAV land. Dr Rick and Sam move towards the sensors on the ground, taking in their surroundings of pollution and seaweed.
“Everything is so wet” Sam says as he lifts his shoe up.
Looking at building signs and the walls, all wet, “that is super weird. Rodan isn't one for water either. Let’s move to our sensors”
The monarch/military team move towards the sensors. Located underground, they make it there. Military guards stay above piloting drones around to gather footage, as two guards go down with Sam and Rick. Everything underground and near the sensors are wet.
“Alrighty lets check these out” Dr Rick says as he starts looking at the readings. “These literally match Titan movement, but did you see any footprints? I didn’t”
“No I didn’t, I - “ Sam says
“Hey Doc, we might have something up he-" walkie talkie radio cuts.
Everyone’s heads perk up, “what was that?” Dr Rick asks
Two military guards start to move up the stairs, guns off safety. They move up, out of camera, we don’t hear anything. Camera focus on Sam and Rick.
“Doc, we need you up here ASAP. We need to move.”
"One second" Dr Rick rushes to finish gathering the data from the computer.
"That wasn't a suggestion, that is an order, we need to move now." Sam and Dr Rick grab their information and start sending it to Monarch, move upstairs, we see outside, all the military guards who stayed up, are chopped in half.
Sam almost pukes, Dr Rick asks, “what did this? Did we see anything”
“No visuals yet sir. We need to leave now sir.”
“Good idea, let’s go”.
Rick, Sam and the two last military guards start to make their way back. As they are walking past buildings and quietly leaving the areas, two guards with their guns trained, a crustacean crab creature (taller than 6’) appears behind a building and attacks one of the soldiers.
"What the f-" Sam screams
“RUN” the last three run to the helicopters. A swarm of crustacean crab creatures appear and start to chase them.The last military guard slows down, begins to fire at all of the crabs, and then he/she is snatched by the crabs, torn apart (off screen but you can hear it).
Sam and Rick make it to the HEAV. “Sam, send the data, I’m gonna get us flying.” Crabs are smashing the HEAV, trying to get in.
“Data sent! Let’s get out of here!” Sam exclaims.
"Guys, what is going on. Rick talk to me." Colonel Diane orders over the radio.
"Something is wrong here! He are leaving!" Rick yells back.
"Guys, come in." Radio is getting static. Sam becomes pale.
Rick stressing, pushing all the buttons and switches, starts to get the HEAV up. “Here goes nothing.” The pressure from the HEAV knocks the crabs off. Both Sam and Rick exclaim with joy. They start to fly off and then... they see Destroyah. Standing in the water, wings out wide in full force, as big as like Ghidorah, menacing face staring at the one HEAV. We see Destroyah’s mouth begin to open and he shoots his Micro-Oxygen beam, which destroys the HEAV in its entirety, and what was left of the city of Isla de Mara.
Colonel Diane’s voice can be heard in the background as the screen fades to black, “RICK, SAM. COME IN. RICK. SAM. ARE YOU ALIVE. RICK. SAM. COME IN.” The radio cuts out as the HEAV no longer has power.
NEXT SCENE
Hollow Earth Monitoring Station
“How’s Rodan recovering?” Mark asks.
“He doesn’t seem to want to leave his new found cave. He seems spooked.” Ilene replies. “There is a whole new mood change down here. Kong isn’t being himself either. There’s an eeriness about something right now. I don’t think this is Godzilla.”
“I spoke to Colonel Diane at Castle Bravo. She said they lost contact with Sam and Rick at Isla Del Mara and it's been 2 hours. They received data of a titan being there, but no specifics on who or what. They are sending drones out to scope Isla Del Mara."
"I think it's time to take Jet Jaguar up top and send him in." Illene says nervously.
"It's not ready and it is definitely not combat ready. We just got it walking and taking it to Rodan took a toll on it."
"I think you need to trust what we built, which was modeled after Kong, and there was the time Kong stole it and we found him weirdly cuddling with it, which it survived. It's a strong machine. We are taking it up." Illene says confidently, as she leaves, she orders her team to prep Jet Jaguar for the surface and prep for departure to Castle Bravo.
Mark sighs, gathers his things, and leaves.
NEXT SCENE
Castle Bravo
"Why is there a giant ass Robot on the helipad upstairs" Colonel Diane asks loudly.
"We will be leaving soon for Isla Del Mara, we just need to prep before taking off." Illene says.
"Can it fight Titans?" Barnes asks, kind of in an exciting manner.
"We haven't tested that yet." Mark says all serious. Illene slightly smiles and winks/nods at Barnes. Barnes fanboys out but keeps it under wraps.

Barnes is up top with Illene and Mark, leans over to Illene "This is so cool." He says with a giant smile on his face.
"Just wait until you see it in action." Illene powers on Jet Jaguar, blue lights begin to light up all around the body and up in the eyes.
Final shot is of Jet Jaguars eyes lighting up.
